This website contains the following: a blog recording my research endeavors into web and graphic design, a satisfactory presentation of my previous and ongoing work, a unique visual style representative of my personal experience.
My goal is to become a better designer. I primarily design for the web but intend to break into graphic design.
My philosophy is that the purpose or function of web design is to create intractable spaces unique to the character or brand of the subject. The ability for websites to have intractability sets this apart from other design mediums, such as graphic design. Furthermore, I believe that the indie web–and the community within neocities–demonstrate that imagining websites as literal “spaces” allows for heightened creative expression.
One glaring issue: as one can observe, I am not a good designer. But I intend on using this space to track my progress as I study and practice designing graphics for the web.
